This Star Lily Sashiko kit contains a beautifully finished pre-sewn cotton Eco 12" X 16" bag with comfortable wide straps and an inside pocket to make your small items easy to access. When the bag is empty you can fold it into the attached inner pocket to make it convenient to take along for your shopping.
The design is printed in wash out ink. Enough sashiko thread and a sashiko needle are included. Instructions are in Japanese only but come with good diagrams.
This is not a beginner project!
If you are confident with hitomezashi stitching and understand how kuguri stitching is done this is a lovely project, but if you are new to these it may be very confusing without English instructions.
I recommend the book Amazing Sashiko if you have not done this type of stitching before and want to learn.
When your stitching is finished, wash the bag to remove the printed design, and it is ready to use!
