A perfect small stitching project for a summer afternoon, or for a travel take along. Simply open the package and enjoy the stitching. When you are finished the stitching wash the farbic to remove the printed markings. The will wash away completely.

- Use alone or combine with other lightweight or tsumugi fabrics in your other projects.
Tip: The thread in this kit is the less tightly woven Olympus sashiko brand. This is intentional, it allows the thread to plump up like a fat little grain of rice when washed, and at the same time to connect itself into the fabric. This interaction between the thread and the fabric is part of the reason for the increased beauty of well washed sashiko pieces. So if the bit of fuzziness in the thread isn't your favourite thing, wash and dry your stitching with your next load of towels! (But do finish the edges first, raw edges with fray :-)
