This package contains 3 durable plastic stencils and an instruction booklet. Each stencil is 5" x 9" and has 3 traditional sashiko patterns on it.
Each of the individual pattern of the 9 measures about 3" x 5" and is designed for you to be able to easily make overlapping repeats.
The stencils are cut with individual stitch markings so you can mark each stitch onto your fabric to make keeping your stitches even easy. I recommend using an iron away fine tip fabric marker to trace through the stencil openings on your fabric.
Note: The length of the stitches are short so I recommend using the Olympus thin sashiko thread
Also use shorter/thinner sashiko needles like the Tulip Big eye straight thin pkg or the Hidamari pkg.
This Bohin Fabric Pencil is a good fabric marker to use with these stencils if you are working with dark fabric. For light or white fabric this iron away Frixion pen is a good choice.
