I find this a very handy little tool for sewing, altering, or designing with fabric. Made of flexible soft silicone you can fit it to a curve, then mark your sewing and/or cutting lines with a fabric marker. (It can also be used for making pleats or marking evenly spaced stitches.)
The holes are so you can pin it down on a pad (or use your ironing board) to keep it in place for marking but I find the silicone doesn't slide easily and I use it without pinning.
Heat resistant, you can use your iron to press fabric for hemming.
Size: 11 cm X 2.5cm (which is a tiny bit short of 12" X 1 inch wide)
Comes in either blue or soft grey (random, no choice, sorry :-)
