This cotton fabric marked in 5mm intervals with wash out ink so you can draw your own designs, stitch, then wash out the grid.
Especially intended for stitching Single-Stitch Sashiko (Hitome-Zashi) or Weaving Sashiko (Kuguri-Zashi), but it can also be used for traditional moyo-sashi patterns.
The size of this panel makes it a game changer for your home decor or clothing sewing because now you can draw out the designs you see in the sashiko books, or design your own combination of sashiko, on one single piece of fabric.
The fabric weight is suitable for runners, cushions, bags, coasters. It has a strong weave and enough body to stand up well to wear and washing. The drape may be a little stiff for a shirt but good for an over-shirt, vest or for the Japanese Hippari jacket.
If you have almost any of the sashiko, Hitome-sashi or kuguri-sashi books, this fabric will make it easy to copy and stitch the patterns. (I show some examples in the pictures here)

- 1 meter (105cm X 100cm) 41 3/8 X 39 3/8"
- 1/2 meter (5cm X 100cm) approx 20 1/2" x 20"
Note: Please do not iron before your stitching is complete. Heat will set the markings so they won't wash out properly. Also keep the cloth dry or they will blur, or worse, disappear!
