Japanese Hapi & Haori Pattern
$34.68
This Folkwear pattern contains patterns and instructions for two jackets, Haori and Hapi, and Tabi slippers.
The Haori is a thigh length lined jacket with a straight front opening finished with a neckband that extends to the hem. The front and back are cut with no sewing seam, there is a narrow side panel below and underarm opening.
The Hapi is an unlined shop coat work by craftsmen, shopkeepers and firemen over western style clothing. Sized for men and women. Constructed from simple rectangles.
The covers on the Folkwear patterns are beautiful artist rendered drawings of the authentic patterns they contain, but don't let that confuse you about the way they make up in modern fabrics for comfortable wearable clothing. These are easy to sew and comfortable to wear.
