This is a collection of 8 printed wagara and kasuri Japanese fabric patterns in cut strips 5" x 21" for when you need a variety of co-ordinated  pieces suitable for visible mending, boro style stitching, applique or small piecework projects. ,They are also ideal for using with sashiko stitched projects.

What does wagara mean?

Wagara cotton print fabric are traditional Japanese patterns; wa means “Japanese-style” and gara means “pattern.”  Sometimes these fabrics are called Kimono cloth because they were often used to make kimonos as well as other household items.
