This package contains hand-cut pieces of Japanese yarn-dyed cotton fabric. Suitable for visible mending, boro inspired stitching, slow stitching, small appliqué, patchwork quilting and other small sewing projects.
These are the same high-quality Japanese yarn-dyed cotton fabrics that I sell by the metre on this website.
Each piece is hand cut, slight variations in size and shape should be expected.
- Size: Most pieces are between 4" and 5", none are smaller that 3 1/2"
- Fabrics: Japanese yaen-dyed 100% cotton fabric
- Area: How much area this package will cover when stitched together will depend on your stitching practices. Some people overlap, layer or hem pieces more than others. It will cover roughly 2/3rds of a meter
- Care: No need to preshrink. Machine wash and dry.
- Colourfast
There are between 1 and 6 pieces of each fabric, and approx. 8 to 12 different fabrics in each package. Over time the fabrics will change from the ones shown, but the type and quality of the fabric will remain the same.
