This solid wood laser engraved flower with razor thread cutter has a rotary cutter blade securely and safely contained inside. There is just enough space between the petals to easily cut your thread. The flower fits snuggly into the wooden base, and the base itself had rubber feet to keep it from sliding around on your sewing table.
I tried it and found it a nice change not to have to pick up and put down scissors every time I need a thread cut while stitching. And it seems easier to find than my little scissors - they seem to 'hide' under something else every time put them down :-D
