This is collection of 5 pieces of 100% cotton artisan fabrics made by hand by skilled crafts-people. This package contains a mix of Katazome resist and block printed patterns. The dye is indigo and vegetable dyeds.
5 hand-dyed katazome print cotton fabric pieces, each is 6" X 6". The patterns are the same as shown here.
100 % cotton with a firm hand which makes it very suitable for mending jeans and jackets but they can also be used on lighter weight clothing and home decor items.
Prewash? No blue has rubbed off on my fingers as I handled these fabrics so I believe the dye is well fixed in the cloth, but check for yourself by rinsing in warm water. They won't shrink.
Care: You can machine wash and dry these but it is best to use low heat and take them out of the dryer before fully dry.
