This is a ready to stitch cotton sashiko placemat. Simply thread your sashiko needle with sashiko thread and enjoy your stitching. When you are finished, soak and rinse away the marked pattern.
You will need 80 meters of sashiko thread to complete this design. Finished size is 31cmX45cm. Machine wash and dry. English instructions included.
This placemat design is inspired by the Japanese Temari ball with a centre top circle from which the wrapped 'threads' of the ball are represented by hitome-sashi patterns curving outward.
