One of the Olympus sashiko kits that are not readily available anymore, this ready to stitch kit contains a partially sewn dark blue cotton bag printed with the butterflies and tumbling block pattern in the photo. The fabric is a good quality strong cotton and all the edges are serged so they will not ravel. All the seams are sewn except the two side seams which have been left open to make your sashiko stitching more enjoyable. You can hand or machine stitch them closed when your sashiko stitching is finished and then soak and rinse the finished bag to wash away the printed markings.
