This new Cosmo Sashiko Coaster kit is a good beginner project. The sashiko design and cutting lines are printed in wash out ink. You can open the package, thread the included needle with the sashiko thread and start stitching. There is a needle threader included in the package, and cotton tape for finishing.
The kit makes a pair of matched size coasters and can be complete in about three hours.
