Everything you need for your next mending task collected in one re-usable closable envelope. Quick to get out and easy to use when you want to spend a cozy evening mending. The backing paper peels off the adhesive backed pattern. Simply stick the pattern to your fabric, stitch over the pattern, and then soak in warm water to dissolve.
- Notes: I have used this particular product. It does wash away completely. I hold mine under a running warm water tap.
- It doesn't gum up on your needle, but it does add some resistance to your fabric. On thick fabrics I tend to use back stitches and space them to look like sashiko stitches. On lighter fabrics I can use sashiko stitching by putting only a few stitches on the needle before pulling it through the fabric.
- Warming the patch between your hands will activate the stickiness if it feels like it isn't sticky enough.

Note: I have packaged this kit in a recyclable brown light cardstock envelope. This will help to keep light off of the dissolvable material but the yellowing that does happen from light they will still work just the same.
