This navy cotton fabric is printed with a lovely collection of traditional Wagara  patterns. Wagara refers to "Japanese pattern+woven+item" which translates for us into "cloth item woven with designs that are particular to Japan".

This fabric is a little smoother than the Olympus Takumi wagara and the blue and white colours are brighter. It is lightweight and  suitable for quilting, clothing and home decor project sewing. It hand stitches easily and is also popular for visible mending and boro stitching.
