I like this panel. It is printed with the longish running Sashiko stitches, and could be stitched in traditional Sashiko white on blue style to good effect, but it resembles some English crewel work designs, and could be used for a wool crewel work design or for an embroidery. It would also be lovely with some areas appliqued.
It is 24" x 42" (60cm x 108cm) and printed as one long panel and four square blocks (10" x 10"/ 25cmX25 cm) so you can easily break it into parts and create your own quilt or use the pieces in several other project.
The panel is printed on high quality cotton with wash out ink. It is important not to let it get wet before the stitching is finished. Also, do not iron it as heat may set the ink. When finished, soak and wash gently to remove all the markings, dry and press from the back.
