This kit contains Susan Briscoe's book and everything you need to make a sashiko project or two from the directions and designs included in it. There is 1/2 meter of Japanese momen fabric for sashiko stitching in a traditional dark navy colour, an 11" x 17" sheet of good quality Olympus transfer carbon paper to transfer your design onto the fabric, a pack of 4 Sashiko needles (four lengths), a leather sashiko thimble, and two 20 meter skeins of sashiko thread, one in traditional white, and one in red to add a bit of pop to your sashiko stitching 😀
This is a good beginner kit as the book will teach you what you need to know for sashiko stitching, but don't overlook it as a great "gift to self" if you are already a sashiko stitcher.
