White pre-quilted 2.5 oz polyester quilt batting with soft flannel cotton on both sides.
Machine wash, warm tumble dry and remove promptly.
44/45" wide
This batting has the old fashioned 'heavy quilt' weight of early American homestead quilts making it perfect for making modern 'weighted blanket' style quilts.
(If you like your quilts and blankets to be light and fluffy you won't like this batting!)
It is a good option for making sashiko stitched pieced quilts. You can do minimal quilting on your sashiko stitched top fabric because the batting is already quilted, it doesn't need more quilting in order to be washable. For example, if I am quilting 9" sashiko stitched blocks in a quilt I would machine (or hand) quilt the layers together along the 9" seam of the joined blocks. it is not neccesary to quilt over the sashiko stitched area.
Ordering: order by 1/2 meter increments. Example: If you put 2 in the unit order box you will be sent 1 full meter in one uncut piece. If you put 3 in the unit box you will receive one and one half meters length in one uncut piece and so on
