This hard acrylic half-hexagon template comes with a postcard with instructions for making a repeat design printed on the back. It is a simple, tidy, little tool for for making mending patches or boro fabrics.
Size: 1 1/2" across top, 3 1/2" across bottom, 1 3/4" height
Stitch together as many as you need to make a patch your project, then
- Top stitch with sashiko thread around each shape near the seams, or make rows of evenly spaced sashiko stitching across all of them.
- Fussy cut your fabrics to feature special bits of a fabric in each hexagon to create a theme
Combine this template with the small cuts packages of fabric on this site, use scraps from your other sewing projects, or cut fabric from the less worn areas of worn old clothing.
