This is collection of 5 pieces of 100% cotton artisan fabrics made by hand by skilled crafts-people. The package contains a mix of Katazome and block printed patterns.
Each pieces is 13" X 20" (35cm by 50cm)
Prewash? No blue has rubbed off on my fingers as I handled these fabrics so I believe they the dye is well fixed in the cloth, but check for yourself by rinsing in warm water. They won't shrink.
Care: Plant dyes do fade over time, the way vegetable indigo dyed colour fades is part of why it is so valued, it increases in beauty. You can machine wash and dry but use low heat and take them out of the dryer before fully dry.
