This is a unique specialty fabric. It is a medium weight cotton dyed to resemble a plant dyed indigo blue fabric. The dyed colour has slight light and dark variation over the surface. To add to the uniqueness of this fabric it has been woven with a thicker thread roughly 3/8" apart. These threads resemble sashiko stitching.
Care: Colourfast, machine wash and dry, preshrunk 100% cotton.
I washed a piece in hot water to see what would happen. The colour, feel and size did not change noticeably. Just as a note, this is a piece dyed fabric not a yarn dyed fabric. Piece dyed fabrics are woven first and the the colour is added through dyeing)

How to order the length you need: Available in increments of 1/4 meter (25cm or 10 inches). Examples: If you want to half a meter put 2 in the number ordered box, if you want a meter put 4 and so on. Your fabric will be sent to you in one uncut piece.
