This style can be cut on the grain or on the bias if you want more drape to the fabric.

Suggested fabrics: This pattern works best with lightweight semi-drapey woven fabric.
(The dyed yarn cotton fabrics on this site are good shirt weight woven cotton, hold their colour and body when machine washed and dried, don't shrink, but do get more comfortable with time and wear...just thought I'd mention that :-))
