Valdani perle cotton threads are loved by so many of us for the depth of colour and softer texture of the thread. These long staple Egyptian cotton threads have a beautiful soft sheen, are colourfast, and because they are hand dyed they have gentle colour transitions.
73 yard ball (aprox. 67 meters), size 8 thickness, variegated hand dyed cotton thread.
The Green in this variegated perle cotton thread leans a bit toward the blue tones on the colour wheel. The other two greens in the photo are Withered Green which leans toward the yellows on the colour wheel and is a clear colour green and Lichen Moss which is a more faded straw green colour.
Size 8 is the medium weight perle cotton (Size 5 is thicker and size 12 is thin).
This is suitable for hand stitching, mending, hand quilting, applique, embroidery, crochet, wool applique, punchneedle, fringe and tassel making.
It can be using in machine quilting and stitching for bobbin work.
