April 10/19. Two notes: Yoko Saito books are back in stock and I've aded new dyed yarn fabric bundles. Also, working conditions are a little challenging from the big move :-) so please let me know if you find any errors, or have any concerns with your orders. Happy stitching! Susan
If you prefer perfect evenly spaced hand stitches, use this Big Stitch Marking Tool to transfer evenly spaced markings to your fabric on your sashiko or big stitching quilting project. It comes with two interchangeable wheels for marking 1/8" or 1/4" stitch lengths.
To use it you will need sewing carbon and a paper pattern. Lay the carbon waxy side down on the right side of your fabric. Cover it with your paper pattern, then roll the wheel along the pattern's stitching lines. Check to be sure the stitching lines are transferring, you should see evenly spaced dashed on your fabric.
Tool is approx. 8" long, and handles like a rotary cutter.
