Natural linen colour, a bit darker than the photo shows, this is a smooth medium weight strong 55% linen, 45% cotton fabric. Our best seller for solid colour medium weight fabrics for sewing home cushions, runners, table covers and mats, bags, bag linings, purses, pouches, and so on. It is an excellent fabric for hand stitching, and I use it for sashiko stitching. It is also a good machine embroidery fabric.
It is machine wash and dry, but will gain a little texture when washed so take it out of the dryer a little damp and iron it, if you want that really smooth surface back. Colourfast and durable.
