This bolt is the an even weave, medium weight fabric. The green is quite dark and shows both taupe and grey/blue in the threads, making it an interesting piece of fabric that looks as if it was dyed with a natural vegetable plant dye.

Made for Olympus, Japan, who do an excellent job of maintaining the authentic look of traditional fabrics while providing the modern quality and care features we want: it is colourfast, durable and machine washable, with minimal to no shrinkage.

How to order: Your fabric will be send in one continuous piece. Order in half meter units (1 unit will be 19.5 X 44", 2 units will be 39" X 44" , 3 units will be 60" X 44",  and so on)

Sakizome-momen fabric is a dyed yarn cotton fabric. Dyed yarn fabrics are made from yarn (threads) that have been dyed before the fabric is woven. This gives it interesting colour variations, plus it means the colour is embedded right through the cloth, not only on the surface.

This fabric is made in Japan for Olympus and meets their consistently high quality standards for fabrics.
