Designed to frame embroideries stitched in hoops, these Modern Hoopla frames are a brilliant display solution for any textile art that can be put into an embroidery hoop after it has been finished!
The embroidery frame quickly and easily stretches the finished work securely, and then you put the embroidery frame right into the outer round frame.
The Hooplas frames are cut out in the back to hold (and hide) the frame. You simply drop your stretched piece into the round outer frame. There is wiggle room for centring, and some tabs to wedge the hoop tight when it is where you want it.
There are also pre-drilled holes for hanging. I just use a couple of push pins, and that is it! Job done. Your work is on display to enjoy.
These are made with 3/4" furniture grade birch plywood. These square frames are designed for 6" hoops with an interior opening of 5.75". 1/8 inch of your project edge will be covered. Please measure your frame to be sure. Apparently some 6" hoops are a little smaller.
The outer frame is 8 3/4" wide.
(A note from an overly productive stitcher, in case you are one too. It is very easy to exchange a framed piece with your next piece. The one you remove will be undamaged and can be kept in the hoop until you feel like looking at it again :-D)
