This is perfect book for sashiko beginners, boro stitchers, and visible menders!  It is a clear and easily to use book with 50 different patterns for both woven and knitted fabric mending.

I would be inclined to say if you could have only one mending book, this one should be it.

To make it even more worth owning, it has an envelope of re-usable iron on patterns in a fat little envelope in the back of the book. This means no tedious transfer, you can just iron the design ono you fabric patch and start stitching.

From the back of the book: "This collection of hand-stitchd and darned patterns is organised by skill level from beginner to expert, and each includes step by step instructions and a gorgeous photograph of the finished pattern. With designs ranging from geometric grids to those in a looser, nature inspired style, this is the perfect source of inspiration and instruction for every mending project."

This guide will help you save money, build your sewing and stitching skills, and make stunning fashion statements. Each sashiko pattern is organised by skill level – from beginner to advanced – and feature a variety of styles for all kinds of wearables, from geometric grid-based patterns to charming nature-inspired designs.
