These Fixing Pin pin and cap pairs are made to poke straight through thick and hard to hold situations, then the cap fits on the sharp end of the pin holding everything tightly in place with no shifting or warping of fabrics.
Better than bending all your straight pins! Also easier to handle since you don't have to push the pin in and back out again while trying to keep the layers flat and in place.
They come in a pack of 2.
The 'how to' in the package is in Japanese, but how they work is intuitive. That little know at the end will pull back a bit and to let eh pin tip into all the way, then pop back to lock the cap on.
