This is a good kit for the visible menders among you!
The kit contains 6 different design patches, each 6" x 8" Sashiko designs printed on sakizome-momen (yarn dyed 100% cotton fabric), a 100 meter skein of Sashiko thread, and a pkg of 2 Sashiko needles.
These are wonderful if you are looking for a traditional look homespun fabric for boro patching on your jeans, shirts, bags, or combine with other fabrics and sew home decor items.
Like with all pre-printed Sashiko fabrics, you simply thread your Sashiko needle with Sashiko thread and stitch over the printed lines, but unlike most of the pre-printed fabrics, the print on these will not wash out entirely; it will fade with washing.
