Wish you could block print on fabric with indigo?
This kit by fibre artist Julie Sinden in Ontario, Canada, contains the ingredients to make an indigo paste which you can use to block print on your pre-washed cotton fabric.
It differs from the indigo clay resist kit in that the print you make on your fabric with this kit will be indigo blue with white background, while the print you make with the clay resist will be white with indigo blue background fabric colour.

"This kit includes comprehensive instructions for creating, applying, fixing and reducing the paste.
Indigo (indigofera tinctoria) is the natural world's only source of colour fast blue. However, it is not soluble in water, and so needs to be applied in a very unique way in order to use it as a paste for block printing or silk screening.
This kit includes the ingredients to create a thickened paste for applying the indigo, as well as the additives for the bath to fix the paste to the fabric, and the ingredients to put the indigo through the classic "reduction" process, so that it is permanent and colourfast.
The kit can be used with lino cuts, wood blocks, silk screening or brushed/painted/stencilled on. "
