Like any good home made bear, you will grow more fond of Boro bear with passing years, because she has that "certain something" comes from being handmade and imperfect!
This kit contains Japanese Kasuri print navy cotton fabric in several traditional designs, plus a second print fabric, 20 meter skein of Olympus Sashiko thread, 6 buttons for eyes, hips and shoulders, 2 meters of strong toy-making thread for attaching the limbs, full size pattern pieces and directions. (You will need a long Sashiko needle and some toy stuffing)
It also contains a short history of Boro and instructions for how to make a Boro fabric to use in making your bear.
The finished bear is about 14" tall standing, 9" sitting. Her arms and legs are moveable, allowing her to do both.
