This is the coat I wear at shows. It is easy to make and comfortable to wear. There are inside ties to adjust the width and to keep it closed properly. It is lined with a lightweight fabric. The finished size length is 26". It is a one size pattern, about a size 8 to 10 I think. I am 5' tall and the length is right for me, you could quite easily lengthen it as the side seams are straight.
This is an example of the functional as well as beautiful nature of sashiko. I throw this coat in the washer and dryer after every show, take it out slightly damp and press it. True I have a little thread wear on the front from loading and unloading boxes and bins into the truck at shows, but it stays worth the time it took to make.
