How Needles are made.
I have hand sewing needles on my mind this month, and I came across a video showing how sewing needles are made. I've put the link in this blog. It shows the process from steel wire to the finished nickel plated and gold eye dipped needle. Its pretty cool to see how it's done.

Here are two things I didn't know. Nickel plating is to stop rusting, and the gold eye dip is to make the eye easier to see (therefore to thread).
